Metal Panel Mounting Desiccators

The Metal Panel Mounting Desiccators protect electronics, electrical and computer equipment against corrosion, contamination, and dampness. The Metal Panel Mounting Desiccators feature a humidity indicator to monitor moisture saturation – a moisture adsorbing agent known as a desiccant can be filled in desiccators. The desiccators used can be either Blue-indicating Silica Gel or Molecular Sieve. When the Blue-indicating Silica Gel is saturated with moisture, the desiccant changes colour from blue to pink, indicating the need for replacement. On the other hand, the Molecular Sieve is used to provide an ultra-low relative humidity for extremely sensitive applications where the equipment may fail to operate immediately due to water vapour condensation. Hence, the Molecular Sieve is ideal for applications where equipment or enclosures are required to function at low temperatures, and water vapour condensation must not occur.
