The Stand Up Pouch, also known as Doypacks, is a packaging solution capable of standing up independently. This packaging solution has become increasingly popular amongst the wide variety of packaging solutions due to its flexibility and customisability, making it the go-to option for industries such as pet food, household items, F&B, and many more. Unlike typical packaging solutions such as glass bottles or cardboard boxes, the Stand Up Pouch consumes a far lesser amount of resources, resulting in a low manufacturing cost.

The Stand Up Pouch is manufactured from several layers of barrier materials classified into three main groups, each with its specific features that come together to provide the pouch with a durable and puncture-resistant characteristic.

• Outer Layer: Allows graphic printing to take place, which helps to communicate the brand message and acts as a vibrant appeal to consumers
• Middle Layer: Acts as a protective barrier to ensure the inner content of the pouch is safe and fresh
• Inner Layer: Most crucial layer amongst the rest as it is usually FDA approved to ensure that food can come in contact safely with the packaging. It is also heat-sealable to assure customers that the pouch has not been tampered with
