The Container Awning Safety Net functions to prevent the slipping, tilting, and falling of goods over people when container doors open after the transit process. It ensures that cargos and goods are secured firmly in containers, protecting people from falling goods and minimising damage to products. During the shipping process, goods may move, tilt and fall after rough handling, which is dangerous for workers when they try to open the doors to unload the goods. When workers open the doors, goods may topple and fall out, causing damage to goods and possible workplace injuries. The Container Awning Safety Net is hence the go-to solution to prevent workplace injuries and product damage.
The Container Awning Safety Net is designed to ensure protection for all sizes of goods, regardless of size. Unlike regular Container Safety Nets, our Container Awning Safety Nets are hole and gap-free, making the shipping of loose and small goods possible. It consists of four 25mm strapping belts of 3.5 meters with an attached hook on one end and a 2.3 x 2.3 meter PP Woven Sheet with four connected clamp locks, one at each corner. These hooks allow fast and easy installation and utilisation of the safety nets without additional attachments. Our safety nets are firm and extremely durable as the belts are made of G85 strapping with a linear strength of 1,000 daN, which is strong enough to hold the first row of cartons safely back in the container. With the additional use of cross lashing, our safety nets are guaranteed to be far more durable than most safety net systems.
- Hook the four vertical straps into the existing container attachment points

- Fix and pre-tension the cover by inserting the four straps into the sewed-on clamp locks
- Connect the straps diagonally, each with a closure, and clamp using a clamping device
- Goods are secured against tilting, slipping, and falling

With our durable and robust Container Awning Safety Net, we guarantee the protection of goods and people, ensuring that they are fixed in place to the container, reducing damage cost, and ensuring their safety.
