Gummed Tape Dispensers

Gummed Tape Dispensers are fast, simple to use dispensers that size, wet, and cut water-activated/gummed tape for sealing corrugated cartons entirely and instantly.

Water-activated/Gummed Tapes are adhesive tapes produced from natural resources such as paper or potato starch. The natural resources in the tape create a natural adhesive that becomes sticky when wet. This natural adhesive embedded into the tape also makes the tape extra tough.

Gummed Tape Dispensers are primarily used for carton sealing and as a replacement for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. Gummed Tape Dispensers are also ideal for medium-to-high-volume packaging operations or sealing a variety of carton sizes. These tape dispensers are also a quick and efficient packaging solution to pack more than 50 packages per day.

Applications

The Water-Activated Reinforced/Non-Reinforced Kraft Paper Tape is used for two strip sealing cartons on top and bottom and works well on recycled and non-utilised loads. It is recommended for use on lightweight to average cartons up to 24 pounds (11kg).

Storage Conditions 

It is recommended to store the paper tapes in a clean and dry place with no volatile solvent to prevent damaged packaging. The storage temperature should be 4° to 26°C, and the humidity level should be 40% and 50%. Inventory rotation is also recommended.
