Specially designed for the close monitoring of movement of goods to determine and identify the stage where it has been mishandled. The ShockLog® Cellular combines the excellent features of the ShockLog® 298 impact recorder with a cellular communication system to provide real-time alerts of inappropriate handling of goods in the supply chain. A user-friendly device, the ShockLog® Cellular makes use of a proprietary piezoelectric accelerometer created and manufactured by SpotSee that produces world-class impact analysis with the lowest noise floor in the market.
The ShockLog® Cellular also features a battery life that lasts over 90 days and can continuously provide low-cost global connectivity without roaming charges. Whenever goods have suffered as out of tolerance impact, tilt, temperature, humidity, or roll condition, the impact recorder will alert the user. The recorded data can also be accessed at any point in time via the user-friendly SpotSee Cloud. With a data capability of 870 events and 262,000-time slots, the recorded information will remain stored even if the battery runs outs. At the end of the journey, the entire dataset is available for download and analysis. The ShockLog software can generate insight reports of the entire journey, consisting of the highest acceleration figures for the X, Y, and Z axis, complex impact curves and temperature.
