ShockLog® Satellite

ShockLog® Satellite

The ShockLog® Satellite is a state-of-the-art technology that combines features of the ShockLog® 298 impact recorder and a satellite communicator, capable of delivering asset location, impact recording, and real-time reporting. It is best suited for applications that involve electronics, logistics, medical devices and supplies, packaging and crating, and water treatment. Specially designed to monitor and report impact events, internal temperature, vibration, peak value (time slot), and summary period journey profile data. The ShockLog® Satellite also uses features from the satellite module, allowing users to locate their goods at any point in time. When the goods encounter any unacceptable conditions, the data logger alerts the users by sending real-time emails or texts to allow immediate actions. The device allows users to set and receive the location report of their asset every four hours, reassuring suppliers by allowing them to assign accountability when goods have been damaged during the shipping process.

This versatile device is also pre-programmed with parameters optimised for assets, allowing users to configure the impact recorder settings such as frequency filters and impact scale to suit their application needs. The pre-programmed configuration allows the data logger to record 108 events when at the highest sampling rate and 870 events when at a lower sampling rate. At the end of the journey, the full data set can be downloaded and generated for analysis. The ShockLog Report View provides an overview of the entire journey, including peak acceleration values for all X, Y, and Z-axis reported on a timely basis and detailed impact curves. This helps users to identify the stage where mishandling has occurred, allowing improvements such as route planning to be made to minimise damage.
