Stream Peak offers a range of Nox-Rust® corrosion inhibitor liquids, oils and coatings that are designed to prevent rust on exposed metals and unpainted metal parts at all stages of their lifecycle including during manufacture, use storage, export, lay-up and preservation.

VCI-Nox-Rust EV9 is a vegetable (soybean) based and biodegradable protective liquid coating that is environmentally safe and effective. It is made with edible and food-grade soybean oil that is bleached, deodorised, and very resistant to spoiling and going rancid over time. It also features water-displacing, non-flammable and non-toxic capabilities, but most importantly, it has the viscosity to reach enclosed areas of the equipment with the use of normal industrial application equipment. It can be removed if needed using a hot alkaline wash or high-pressure steam. Otherwise, long-term protection from corrosion is guaranteed, providing users with peace of mind when shipping or storing their equipment.

The Evapo-Rust® De-Rusting Solution is a non-toxic and water-based rust remover that functions as a safe and environmentally friendly solution, allowing the removal of rust without the need for scrubbing. Evapo-Rust works within minutes and is odour-free and non-acidic. The neutral formulation bonds and removes rust, yet it doesn’t affect metal compositions, plating, or even non-oxide paint coatings.
