Description
VCI Powders are designed to provide interior metal surfaces of enclosed systems with corrosion protection which are often used for:
- Lay-up, preservation and mothball applications to protect internal cavities and recesses.
- Preserving of equipment that requires hydrostatic testing before shipping and storage.
- In a mothballed facility, the VCI powder keeps machinery in working conditions, so that production can be restored quickly whenever needed.
Water-soluble and silica-free, the VCI powders are specially designed to protect the interior metal surfaces of enclosed systems such as:
- Boilers
- Turbines
- Heat exchangers
- Compressors
- Tubes, pipes
- Power generation equipment
- Mining equipment
- Drilling equipment
Apply VCI powders by dusting, sprinkling or fogging into enclosed space with a low-pressure air hose, or dissolve in water. Safe and environmentally friendly, our VCI powders are free from phosphates, heavy metals or nitrates.
Nox-Rust VCI Powder 1000SF
Nox-Rust VCI Powder provides continuous protection for the interior metal surface of an enclosed system against corrosion. Lay-u, preservation and mothball applications protect the internal cavities and recesses. The powder prolongs the lifespan of the equipment undergoing hydrostatic testing for storage and shipment. Nox-rust powder ensures that the machinery remains in excellent working condition for immediate restoration of production.
It is water-soluble, silica-free, safe and environmentally friendly and does not contain heavy metals, phosphates or nitrite. The powder can also be applied by sprinkling, dusting or fogging enclosures with a low-pressure air hose or applied as a solution.
VCI Powder (Nox-Rust 1000SF)
- protects ferrous metals
- silica free
- water-soluble
- dry application (dusting and sprinkling)
- wet application (fogging or aqueous application)
- pouch emitter placed in spaces (slow diffusion)
- protects equipment in storage, during lay-up or hydrostatic testing
Nox-Rust VCI Powder 1000 SF is designed to protect ferrous metals from corrosion causing elements. Silica-free and water-soluble, the 1000SF protects equipment during storage, lay-up and hydrostatic testing. Available in two different forms:
- Nox-Rust 1000SF Loose Powder
Apply the powder by fogging, dusting or dissolving it in water to protect metal surfaces. The 1000SF does not require any form of removal, before the restart of the protected equipment. The Nox-Rust 1000SF Loose Powder is sold in 5-lb & 25-lb boxes.
- Nox-Rust 1000SF Pouch Emitter
Each 8″ x 11″ pouch contains Nox-Rust 1000SF powder, capable of protecting up to 900 cubic feet of enclosed space. Place the powder inside boilers, tanks, void spaces inside vessels, turbines and stream or condensate pipelines.
Upon application, the breather polyethene sealed bag then diffuses slowly, protecting ferrous metals of equipment during inactivity, storage, or lay-up over a long duration of time.
Nox-Rust VCI Powder 1000SFG
VCI Powder (Nox-Rust 1000SFG)a finer version of Nox-Rust 1000SF for applications that requires finely grounded powder
Nox-Rust VCI Powder 1010SFG
Nox-Rust VCI Powder provides continuous protection for the interior metal surface of an enclosed system against corrosion. Lay-u, preservation and mothball applications protect the internal cavities and recesses. The powder prolongs the lifespan of the equipment undergoing hydrostatic testing for storage and shipment. Nox-rust powder ensures that the machinery remains in excellent working condition for immediate restoration of production.
