VCI SHRINK FILM

The VCI Shrink Film is a heavy-duty shrink wrap used as an easy and economical packaging method for large and irregularly shaped equipment. It functions as a barrier against moisture and contaminants. It is commonly used to cover machinery that needs to be transported by rail, flatbed truck, or ocean-bound containers. Incorporated with heat-sealable and puncture-resistant properties, the film can conform to irregular shapes and surfaces, covering assets while keeping the contents secure and protected from the surrounding environment.

The VCI Shrink Film is an enhanced version of heavy-duty shrink wrap. The shrink film ensures metals are kept clean, dry, and corrosion-free by incorporating volatile corrosion inhibitors and UV stabilisers. The durable, flexible, puncture and tear-resistant film can easily fit the equipment’s shape. It also features UV blocking compounds that prevent damage from harmful UV rays. When metals are wrapped or packaged in the shrink film, the volatile corrosion inhibitor compounds form an invisible protective layer that functions as a barrier, preventing corrosion causing elements such as salt, dirt, moisture, and oxygen from depositing directly onto the metal surface.

Cleaning of the equipment is not required, as the VCI will safely dissipate once the part is unwrapped. The metal equipment would come out clean, dry and ready to use. The film’s features allow it to be used and stored anywhere, including weather changing, sunlight, and heavy outdoor environments. The VCI Shrink Film is an excellent alternative to non-VCI shrink wraps, tarps, covers or packaging solutions unsuitable for crating.

Standard VCI Shrink Film

The Standard VCI Shrink Film is a general-purpose shrink film designed to keep the load secure and free of dust, dirt, moisture, and contaminants without protection against corrosion. This durable multi-purpose wrap provides a controlled, dry interior atmosphere for various protective transit requirements. It is ideally used for flatbeds, container shipping or barge, saving labour, and replacing tarps.

Premium Metal-Guard VCI Shrink Film

Incorporated with corrosion inhibitors in a thick flexible shrink film, the well-rounded film keeps both ferrous and non-ferrous metals clean, dry, and rust-free. The UVI stabilisation feature provides more durability to the film, making it suitable for outdoor storage and export environments.
