The Woven Dunnage Bag is a void filler used to secure a cargo and create a bulkhead during transit and prevent damage to the product. Dunnage bags are excellent void fillers to absorb impact and prevent the movement of goods. Its applications include sea containers, trucks, vessels, rail cars, or intermodal. Dunnage Bags are economical, and a two-ply bag can also hold an approximate amount of 40,000 pounds of cargo. When properly arranged, one airbag is enough to brace an entire container for damage. It is also lightweight and easy to load and unload compared to other materials such as metal and wood. Therefore, the airbag provides all-around impact protection, making it ideal for filling any void left due to pallets.
The best thing about Dunnage Bags is that they are easy to use. All that is needed is an air inflator gun or an electric air pump (with a fast-fill valve) designed, especially for Dunnage Bags. The bag can be filled in minutes and with minimal effort. Deflating is equally simple as well. Dunnage Bags combine IN-LINER (known as the bladder or balloon), ensuring that the compressed airtight is at high-pressure levels, and OUT-LINER (the cover) to give the dunnage air bags the shape, stability, and enormous strength. To ensure perfect tightness even under high pressure, all our Dunnage Bags IN-LINER are made of specially extruded polyethene (PE-mixture). Our OUT-LINER of Dunnage Bags come in two different materials – Kraft Paper and Woven Polypropylene (PP). Compared to the Kraft Paper Dunnage Airbag, the Woven Dunnage Bag is far lighter and water-resistant. For inflation of the Dunnage Bags, use our inflation tool – valve systems.
