Truck Systems

Magnetic Field Generator System

The Magnetic Field Generator is a comprehensive system made up of 4 different components, the Generator, the Warning Module, the Cab Silencer and the Power Cable. The Power Chord channels 12V needed for the system from a source on the truck downstream from the ignition. A blue light on the generator shows that power runs to the unit, while an orange light shows a pedestrian warning.

  • The generator forms a pulsing magnetic field that serves as a marker around the truck
  • The Warning Module provides the driver with visual and audible warning (103 dB) when a pedestrian wearing a Personal Alarm Device (PAD) is within the magnetic field of the truck
  • The Cab Silencer allows the driver to wear a PAD but prevents the alarm from going off while driving

Magnetic Field Generator System with Collision Avoidance Module (CAM)

The Magnetic Field Generator s a comprehensive system that includes the generator, warning module, cab silencer and power cable. The generator creates a magnetic field that functions as a marker around the truck. The Warning Module provides the driver visual and audio alerts at 103 dB if a pedestrian equipped with a Personal Alarm Device is within the magnetic field of the truck. The Cab Silencer allows drivers to wear a PAD but prevents the alarm from sounding while driving. The Power Cord channels the 12V needed for the system from a source on the truck downstream from the ignition. The blue light on the generator indicates that power is being run into the unit, while the orange lights indicate pedestrian warnings. The Magnetic Field Generator System can be incorporated with the Collision Avoidance Module to alert drivers of other trucks close to the CAM.

XL Magnetic Field Generator System

The XL Magnetic Field Generator System is provided with an XL Generator, Cab Silencer, Warning Module and Power Cable. The XL Generator generates a pulsing magnetic field that functions as a marker around the truck The Warning Module gives the driver a visual and audible warning (103 dB) if a pedestrian wearing a Personal Alarm Device is within the magnetic field of the truck. The Cab Silencer allows the driver to wear a PAD while preventing the alarm from going off while driving. The Power Cord channels 12V or 24V needed for the system from a source on the truck downstream from the ignition. The blue light on the generator shows that power is running to the unit. By choosing an XL Generator using 24V, the marker around the truck can extend up to ~100ft for the Warning Zone.

Warning Module – Light/Sound

The Warning Module with Light/Sound is designed to provide the driver with an audible and visual warning when a pedestrian is close while driving in reverse. The sound is rated at 103dB. This product connects chains directly in the warning module with light and sound (included in the MFG system).

Warning Module – Light Only

This module is designed to provide a visual warning when a pedestrian walks behind the driver, giving him enough time to prevent the collision. This product connects directly to the warning module with light and sound (included in the MFG system).

Cab Silencer

Cab Silencers are installed to Magnetic Field Generator Systems and is designed to disable the operators Personal Alarm Device (PAD) automatically when in the protected area of the vehicle’s cab. Disabling of PAD is done by preventing the detection of magnetic fields from other Magnetic Field Generators nearby.

Personal Alarm Devices

10 Port Charger

A Personal Alarm Device (PAD) is required to be charged to allow continued usage. 10-Port Charger, the battery charger for PAD comes in 3 different channels, Single Bay, 5-Bay and 10-Bay, each allowing up to 1, 5, and 10 PAD to be charged simultaneously.

Checkout Station

The Checkout Station is used to verify the functionality of the Personal Alarm Device (PAD). Checking the battery charger, LED, magnetic field sensors, sounders, and other parts ensures that the PAD is working and does not require replacement or maintenance.

PAD Test Module

The PAD Test Module ensures all Personal Alarm Devices are functioning properly, minimizing workplace hazards caused by malfunction of devices. Also, the PAD Test Module serves as a reminder for employees to charge their PAD daily. The PAD Test Module is supplied with a Test Station, Power Cable and Warning Module, which are best suited for warehouses where forklifts and other vehicles are used.

Area Control

Structure Monitor

The Structure Monitor is made to protect permanent structures that require constant repair or are too expensive to replace. It can be used as a stand-alone device when a solar panel is added or connected to 110Vac. The Structure Monitor can sense the generator of an approaching truck and sends a warning back to the truck driver. The length of the area around the monitor can be adjusted easily by taking off the top cover and slightly turning the pot with a 3/32” slotted screwdriver.

*Solar Panel, Mounting Plate, and Controller Box are priced separately.

Access Monitor

The Access Monitor provides access to people who uses a Personal Alarm Device (PAD) in controlled areas. Packaged along with a power cable, warning module, and relay for detecting PAD devices, the Access Monitor sends a command and controls the gates to open and close. This also helps to remind PAD users to charge their devices daily and prevent any misplacement of device, strengthening workplace safety.

Area Monitor

Used to warm workers of an approaching vehicle, the MAC-AM (Area Monitor) is a monitoring system used ideally for intersections or areas with blind spots. By giving off light and audio alarms, the Area Monitor can effectively warn workers of possible dangers, reducing the risk of workplace incidence. Able to be used alone or together with the MAC-A system, the detection area of the Area Monitor can be easily modified to suit your needs. The Area Monitor is also packaged with a Relay box and a 50 ft Thermostat wire and the purchase.

Mechanised Area Control

Mechanised Area Control – A

The Mechanised Area Control – A, MAC-System A is used to regulate the pedestrian and equipment in a controlled area at a given time. However, for the MAC-A System to operate, the truck entering the area must first be equipped with a generator system complete with the Collision Avoidance Module (CAM). At the same time, the workers need to be wearing a Personal Alarm Device (PAD). When all three devices are used simultaneously, it keeps the pedestrians and equipment separated, preventing them from occupying the controlled area.

The MAC-A System is designed to generate an adjustable magnetic field suspended about 11 ft above the designated area, up to 30 ft wide and can extend up to 160’ in length. On the other hand, the CAM can detect the magnetic field of the MAC, activating warning alerts. Thus, when all workers equipped with the PAD devices are out of the magnetic field, the truck can enter the area smoothly. Upon purchase, the MAC-A System is packed together with a MAC Controller, two relay boxes, MAC system up to 160 ft of conduit and wire. However, the lights are not supplied.

Mechanised Area Control – Z

In comparison with the MAC-A System which gives off alert warning to both a pedestrian when they enter a controlled area with a truck present inside, the MAC-Z System, on the other hand, prevents the Personal Alarm Device (PAD) from sounding. The MAC-Z System is designed to generate an adjustable magnetic field suspended about 11 ft above the designated area, up to 30 ft wide and can extend up to 160’ in length. The MAC-Z System allows the truck to enter the area smoothly without alarming the PAD worn by workers. The MAC-Z System is ideally used in protected walkways and a row of offices next to the drive path of the truck.

*An additional MAC-Z System is required for areas extending over 160″

Silent Zones

Silent Zone

The Room Silent Zone/Jammer functions to provide an area where the Personal Alarm Devices will not sound even if a truck equipped with a generator is close. Common areas that require a Room Silent Zone include offices(s), workrooms, conference rooms, cafeterias and areas located next to a truck path. The silent field created is oval-shaped and can be easily adjusted to fit the confine spaces of rooms by removing the top and turning the PWM pot. Since the magnetic field can penetrate walls and other obstructions, all workers with PAD will not sound in the presence of a Room Silent Zone. The Jammer is an alternative to the Room Silent Zone when EMI noises are too high. The radius field (major axis) of both Room Silent Zone/ Jammer is from 6 ft up to 28 ft.

Silent Spot

As compared to the Room Silent Zone/Jammer, the Silent Spot is made for smaller areas near a truck path. Covering an area of just 2ft to 9ft, the Silent Spot can be used in areas such as desk(s), personal work areas and workstations. Since magnetic fields can penetrate walls and other obstructions, the Silent Spot functions to prevent the Personal Alarm Devices’ work from activating and sounding. The silent field is circular shaped and can be adjusted easily to fit the small confine spaces of designated areas by removing the top cover and turning the PWM pot. Hence, the Silent Spot can be used as a Room Silent Zone/ Jammer when the EMI noises are too high.
